One of my biggest, most outrageous manifestations has just come to pass and in all honesty, it’s been one of the most challenging manifestations that I’ve ever held faith around. The journey has been such an incredible learning experience for me so I want to talk to you today about holding the faith for your manifestation, even if it seems like it's not coming through.
At one point not that long ago, I really felt like I had mastered the energetics of money manifestation. I was the manifestation queen! But this one felt so far away, that I started to feel scared and unsure how it could ever manifest.
In this episode I talk about how I started to panic and go in a downward spiral, throwing a tantrum with the universe because I didn’t see how this dream could become a reality. I was stressed, and it was causing tension all over the place.
But, anything that I desire is already in my field of possibilities. I just needed to get out of my own way. I had put so much pressure on myself to force this manifestation to be real in my life, that all my efforts actually restricted the flow.
I talk about stepping away from the expectation of how your manifestation will come to pass and being willing to let it go. For me, this looks like a combination of practices for my mind, body, soul and spirit and allowing myself to come back in flow with the vibration of my desires.
As soon as I let it go, everything started to fall into place. And my wildest, most outrageous manifestation came to pass! I talk about being the expander in my own life and creating the possibility by knowing exactly where my energy needed to be.
Abundance is attracted to abundant energy. It doesn't run out. There is an ever replenishing source of money, success, and material goodness available to you always. [00:00:00] You guys look, if you're on YouTube, you'll see this. I am fresh back from the salon and your girls got bangs like full-blown bangs. If you're on the podcast, then you're just gonna have to check it out on YouTube. It's really freshly done and I've actually had my bailage, the blonde bits in my, on my very, very dark hair
[00:00:34] I've had it redone so that it's closer up to my roots because we need to get travel. We're getting travel ready and I'm ready to have three to six months worth of regrowth. Knowing that I might not be able to find a salon that suits me best, especially colour is a major thing, right ladies? Like you've gotta find the right colourist for you.
[00:00:59] And I love my stylist and my colourist. And here's one thing. Here's actually a really fun fact. As per usual, I manifest the most incredible souls into my life. So shout out to Sards. Her name is Sards, and if you would like Sards' details and you're on the Gold Coast, Southern Gold Coast, then hit me up in the dms.
[00:01:19] But Sards and I, we cross paths because honestly, I was going to another salon and it didn't quite work out. For whatever reason, the energetics there just wasn't vibing. So I moved to another local salon and I was allocated this beautiful soul of a human being. And when I first started going there, I was getting my weekly blow dries.
[00:01:42] So love the weekly blow dry and would just love getting my hair done every week. Nowadays, I don't get it done every week as much anymore for a couple of reasons. Like my hair started to not love having heat on it once a week, so I still get my blow-dry done, but maybe like once every three weeks.
[00:01:59] Anyway, so [00:02:00] Sards started with my blow dry and then she told me that she was practising or learning. She's still an apprentice at the time of this recording to do colour and foils and she's like, Hey, can I work on your hair? If you don't feel comfortable with that, then that's totally fine, but can I work on your hair?
[00:02:19] Because I haven't really worked with such dark hair and taking it to a level of blonde and obviously working with Asian hair is a slightly different feel and texture. And you know what I usually would have been really scared of having an apprentice do my hair. Not to say I have ever had a terrible experience with that, but you know, the whole idea of like, having someone who's actually done the thing, especially if you are bleaching your hair right, to have the little bit more experience.
[00:02:49] But I felt total and complete trust. I just knew. And so she did um, the first round of my bailage, and it was honestly so good. It was so good. Better than a lot of the salons that I had been to previously, and now she's gotten so much better and honestly, like look, it's amazing. So, I wanted to share that because, even as I'm sitting at the salon, they know me now.
[00:03:13] I will take my laptop with me and I will go and they've got this huge dining area and it's quite the vibe and there are six or seven chairs there and you can sit there and as your hair's doing its thing for an hour or whatnot, I'm so productive. I get so in the zone with getting so much shit done at
[00:03:30] the hair salon, and they know me now that they're like, okay, like you're an entrepreneur, you're business building, and they're so lovely. You know, They're always coming around going, do you want some water? Can we get you a coffee popcorn? I am so grateful to have incredible people in my life. In all walks of my life, in every aspect of my life.
[00:03:49] And this actually is a really beautiful segue to what I wanna chat to you all about today, which is about holding the faith for your manifestation, even if it seems like it's not coming through, and [00:04:00] also cautioning some beliefs along the way that perhaps I've been asked about, but also I know I've personally really experienced some things because what I wanna talk about today is one of my biggest, most outrageous manifestations has just come to pass, and I will say this upfront.
[00:04:19] It has been one of the most challenging manifestations that I have ever held the faith around. I actually achieved this manifestation in my life. Not so much in the usual signature Ruby Lee way, but it was like a different kind of ruby that had to really step up to the plate for this. And I came into this manifestation feeling so scared, and unsure.
[00:04:47] Midway through I had full blown tantrum with the universe. I was kicking and screaming and energetically getting so down about feeling as though the thing that I wanted, the desire that I wanted was so far away. And honestly, I got so much in funk about not getting there or feeling as though I wasn't getting there, that it actually impacted even on Michael.
[00:05:11] So even my husband who was so neutral to the whole manifestation, he also felt the heaviness around it. And then what happened was we both got into a bit of a stink, but we got ourselves out of it and I wanna talk about that. And then literally as soon as we decided that we got to have a different reality, that we got to choose something else, everything started to fall into place.
[00:05:36] And the manifestation that I'm talking about is, Towards the end of 2021, just before December, I remember we were heading to Melbourne for Christmas. We had come across a developer, a builder in our area who has an extremely incredible reputation for doing [00:06:00] luxurious high-quality boutique builds.
[00:06:01] So of course I had to check them out and they happened to have had two properties available and we decided to buy one off the plan. Literally within three days of finding out about them, we were at their studio. They showed us the quality of their finishes, other properties, and we bought it. We just said, yep, let's do it.
[00:06:22] Transfer the deposit, and we were on our way to building our property. This was so amazing. And I remember as we signed the agreement with the developers, I said to my highest self that I will not need to have a mortgage to cover the cost of the home. I would have enough in my bank account to cover the cost of the home.
[00:06:49] Now, to cover the cost of the home, just to give you a general idea, was over seven figures. So it wasn't just a small manifestation by any means we're talking about over a million dollars in the bank to cover the cost of the home in what was at the time, an eight-month build. Very fast build the builders, were certain that they would be able to get this done.
[00:07:14] And I was like, are you sure guys? It's like the pandemic, it's covid. Are you sure you're gonna be able to get all of the materials and everything to get this done in time anyway? They were saying to us that they already had a lot of the materials ready to go. They had their whole team signed on, ready to go, and sure enough, they were building and building so fast and so quickly.
[00:07:37] Now, to give you some further perspective, the place that we have purchased and bought is literally a stone's throw away from where we are currently residing in a lease. So we're able to see it as much as we want to. It's very close. We have a very close eye on the construction, the build, and also being able to notice how fast they were [00:08:00] moving, which at the start of the process.
[00:08:02] You know, January, February, we could see the frame had come up. They were starting to do plaster wall. Everything was just happening so quickly and I was so excited. I'm like, oh my God, look how quickly this is all happening. I'm so pumped for this. And somewhere around the halfway mark, I started to panic.
[00:08:23] And why I started to panic was because I realized that I had made an agreement with my highest self that I would be able to completely have the money in the bank to pay for this house without needing to rely on a mortgage or to rely on the bank saying yes, et cetera, et cetera. and it started to just seep into my energetic system. And how it manifested was I was thinking to myself, okay, so based on, and this is really how it works, when I notice I'm going down a spiral based on my current income and projections of the business, including monthly recurring revenue, including projected launches and how much we would be receiving, calculating any costs that were leaving the business
[00:09:10] where was I going to be at? In accordance to this manifested goal or the manifestation of that goal, and I was absolutely nowhere near it. We also had another little interesting condition that we placed on the manifestation. the stipulation that we placed around it and picture it like a lasso.
[00:09:31] right? Like we're swinging around our head and then we catch it and we hook it on and it was, we do not wanna touch our current savings. We do not wanna touch our current investment portfolio, not our managed fund, absolutely nothing. In order to meet this goal of paying off the house, this was seven figures in cash, clean, new money from the business.
[00:09:57] All of our existing wealth and our nest egg would [00:10:00] not be touched. Woo. So there was a lot in there. There was just a lot in there. Can you just feel how constrictive that was? And at the time, I'm just going around going, yeah, of course I'm gonna be able to manifest this. Of course I'm gonna be able to receive this in terms of anything that I desire to have is already in my field of possibilities.
[00:10:21] And of course it means that I get to have that. But what I did in process of this was actually create a lot of restrictions around the form in which the manifestation could show up in. And slowly but surely, every time I walked past the property, I was starting to feel heavier and heavier and heavier and heavier.
[00:10:44] And it started to feel less and less expansive, less and less abundant. And you know, one afternoon I came home and I drove past the property and I said to Michael, I really don't think we'll be able to meet this goal. We're gonna have to come up with a plan B. And that whole conversation absolutely spiralled into the biggest argument that we had in a long time.
[00:11:07] And it wasn't even about the property in and of itself. It was about everything else about, you know, when one thing comes up and it kind of just opens up Pandora's box, we started arguing about all the small things that we naturally would always looked over. It was just an atomic bomb that kind of set off every single thing that I was frustrated of by his actions and every single thing that he was frustrated around my actions, not even to do with this property in his house.
[00:11:35] So we had the biggest beef. I ended up crying. He ended up getting so frustrated with me and after about an hour of a standoff-like silence, which is often what we do when we get into arguments. We just need to like take our corners, take a breath. We very, very quickly come back into the same room and just talk it through like civil human beings.
[00:11:58] So it is one of the [00:12:00] strengths that we have in our relationship where we're very open with each other and we can settle the fire very fast. Not that we've had, honestly, we've probably had three to five arguments in our almost 10-year relationship, and I can't even remember what they're all about. I really can't.
[00:12:19] But this one has really stuck with me because what came out of that particular scenario was sitting down and realizing that we had actually put the pressure on ourselves to force this manifestation to be real in our life, and it created so many interesting actions in our business, and also restrictive lack mindedness in
[00:12:46] our financial lens, like the way in which we were looking at certain things. Now, Mike and I, live a very abundant mindset day to day. We never check prices on menus for example, if we want to donate something, we just donate it. If we want to buy clothing, we just buy it. Like that kind of thing. You get the gist.
[00:13:06] We never look at our budgets every week. We're certainly not frugal, but it did start to create a sense of frugal energy all throughout our life and business. We started to look at everything more closely so that we could track towards this manifestation, and that's essentially what caused the volcano to
[00:13:29] just erupt. And we realised at that point that if we're not stepping away from how we've been expecting this manifestation to come through, it would just keep causing major disruptions in the course of having, you know, this dream of ours become a reality. So guess what we did, this is interesting. We decided to speak to a mortgage broker.
[00:13:53] Okay, let's do it. If it takes the pressure off, let's speak to a mortgage broker and we found an [00:14:00] amazing mortgage broker. Someone who you know would also really understand entrepreneurial stuff like he was also a content creator, knew Alex Hormozi and Gary Vaynerchuk, and all the cool, you know, ways in which to grow your brand online.
[00:14:17] So we really hit it off. It was amazing. The other thing we did was we told ourselves if we need to touch the nest egg, It's okay, we can touch the freaking nest egg. And it's so interesting to kind of look at it from that perspective because as soon as we gave ourselves permission to do that, those two actions, everything started to unfold differently because we loosened the grip that we had on the manifestation.
[00:14:50] We decided that it wasn't going to be the be all and the end all of what we deemed as successful. We also decided that we wouldn't really need to have everything together for some time because news came through as it always does, that there was about a two to three-month delay on the house. So that month was a big learning month for us, and it was a big lesson around
[00:15:21] you know, the belief around a manifestation, no matter how big it seems for you. Because honestly, I think up to that point, I had felt a level of mastery around manifestation. I was like, look at me in 2019. I wanted to travel the world. Done. Got it. It's mine. In 2020, I wanted to buy a luxury car. My BMW for a hundred k.
[00:15:43] Done. Got it. It was mine in 2021. I wanted to have enough in our nest egg and have seven figures plus in our net worth. Done. Got it. Mine in 2022. I wanted to buy seven-figure home and have enough of new cash to come in to support this [00:16:00] purchase and why couldn't it be done? Got it mine? Why couldn't it be? So I was actually asked this question inside of the daily ritual, which is where I go live four times a week to my clients, and it's such a beautiful group on the inside.
[00:16:15] So one of my clients, Jennifer asked me, can you share more about the following magic? So when I was sharing about this particular story, and she's gone to ask when a manifestation comes to be, how can we stay in that energy of continuing to level up? Now, this is an interesting question because like I mentioned just now, I really thought at one point that I had mastered the energetics of money manifestation.
[00:16:42] You know Everything that I decided to have just came to me so easily and I did hold the belief that things just got to level up you know, it's that whole saying once you board a plane and you turn left on the plane, you never wanna turn, right? So once you are in first class and you've experienced it, why would you go back to cattle class?
[00:16:59] The same kind of notion happens in manifestation, where it's once you achieve a level of manifestation, why would you only accept the world through the eyes of not manifesting the most wild, crazy outcomes in your life. I was thinking that to myself. Like where did it all go haywire for me
[00:17:16] where I stopped believing that the universe would deliver things to me no matter how large or how big the actual dream was. So Jen goes on to say, I know that it has to do with gratitude, but also what is your secret sauce for piling on the miracles in your life and business? No biggie, right? No biggie at all, Jen.
[00:17:36] And so my response, I'm just looking at the Discord app where I respond to all of my clients. And yeah, I basically said, do you know what Jen? I came to realize, and this is actually what happened. I had to pep talk myself vibrationally so that I got myself out of the freaking pits that I was in, that I myself tied myself to.
[00:17:58] I handcuffed [00:18:00] myself into this dungeon of how this manifestation was gonna come in, and I decided to throw the key away. Now, luckily, the universe caught the key, saved it in her pocket for whenever I was ready to let myself go. But this is how I let myself go. I said to myself over and over again, good things are attracted to good energy.
[00:18:20] Abundance is attracted to abundant energy. It doesn't run out. It doesn't cap out. There's always more. There's always more. There's an ever replenishing source that is money, success, and material goodness available to me always. This is my key to my universal storehouse and it ever replenishes. So the more I started to say these very serving beliefs into my system, and I started to say it every day more and more and more and more and more, I would do my mirror work
[00:18:59] I would do my affirmation work. I would do my tapping, I would do my journaling. I would program my crystals. I would burn away whatever it was that I had to burn away on the moon cycles, all these things. They served me so, More so than that, I started to really dig deep into the body work. So things like kinesiology and hypnotherapy and movement, yoga, dance, these things all in one thing.
[00:19:26] It's not like there's one magic solution for me, it was so much a combination of mind, body, soul, spirit that then helped me really reinterpret this belief that I was able to have it all. I was able to have it. So last month um, we're talking about the month of November. We received an email saying that the house was absolutely ready for settlement, that we were ready to go, that things were available, that we were green lit [00:20:00] for our house.
[00:20:02] So it was absolutely awesome to receive this news because it also coincided with a wonderful piece of news that we had actually had enough in our accounts to cover off the house in full. Isn't that amazing? Once we got out of our own way, more sales started to come through. Unexpected funds came in from all different sources.
[00:20:32] We are moving countries and there's been a lot of selling of things. I didn't even put that into consideration. And some of the things are rather large. We sold the luxury car that we bought in 2020, and guess what? We actually made almost the entire amount back because we had an amazing deal buying it. We bought it like pretty much as a demo model, and it was already an amazing deal that because we had kept the car in such amazing condition and it was hardly being driven.
[00:21:05] We have nearly, nearly made back the amount that we had bought it for. So that wasn't in consideration of our plan. Inner circle had launched, which is amazing. So Inner Circle, payments for 2023 started to come through, and as we let go of the way in which we thought the money was gonna come in, more wells and wells of money opened up for us. And the timing of the house being ready, that extra three months that we received, and the timing of looking at our bank statements and going back and looking at where it was at when we were really restrictive and tied to it.
[00:21:41] It doesn't make any sense whatsoever. It really doesn't make any sense how that much money could have come through in that period of time to have covered that goal. So, I wanted to share the [00:22:00] ups and the downs and the manifestation process of something in my world that was absolutely huge and amazing.
[00:22:05] And oh my gosh, like we celebrated so much. The other day we did a final inspection before we head off overseas, and I just balled my eyes out. Just with overflowing, gratefulness, it it kind of just all hit me. I learned so many things. It nearly just brought me down to my knees just with how much I felt so supported and so loved by all things at the universe
[00:22:32] is constantly serving up for me. And I was sharing this on Instagram and I wrote a little post saying, you know, over the past 12 months I've been channelling all of my belief and wealth activating practices towards an expansive financial goal. And at times it felt super hard to get behind it, and it felt like such a large mountain to climb.
[00:22:57] The reason why it felt that way as well is because no one in my close inner circle, whether it be friends or family, had decided to buy a house and pay it off in full. No one had decided to also do that in 10 short months. , definitely, a lot of people in my circle have bought homes, but they've just attached a super, super long loan to it.
[00:23:22] But, I realized that if I couldn't find the expander who had done that in my close inner circle, then I had to create the reality for that to be real in my life. I had to create the possibility. So I've talked about this before around find your expanders, find people who have done it before, but this time it felt like
[00:23:43] if I'm not able to find my expander within a certain period of time, I had to find the expander in my highest self. And you can do this, okay? My love's you can do this through the power of, let's just use 10 months as a goal. [00:24:00] So take a minute right now and I dare you to select a crazy out there, ridiculous manifestation that right now in your energetic system, you kind of wanna laugh at it.
[00:24:14] That's how it felt for me at the time, and we wanna pick that thing that just feels ridiculous. Okay, have you got it? If you don't, then hit pause, and if you don't and you've hit pause and you still come back and you don't have it, then it's gonna be a big fat neon sign to say, girl, it's time to dream bigger.
[00:24:41] This is the time to dream bigger. And in fact, here's another challenge. Whatever you have selected, whatever you've picked, for those of you that have picked something, can you make it bigger? And even more ridiculous. So when we were looking to buy an investment property, I gave myself a budget and the budget was like half of what we ended up spending, and I could get behind that.
[00:25:08] I was like, oh yeah, I can get behind whether it was like a seven or $800,000 property, no worries. I can get behind that. That'll be like six launches and I'll pay that off in full. But we ended up paying almost double that and I couldn't get behind it. That's where we wanna go. That manifestation, where it feels so uncomfortable, you feel a little bit sick about it and it makes you laugh even just like, okay, alright, I got that.
[00:25:34] Okay. So we wanna use that as a basis of your highest self sharing with you, how easy it was for you to achieve that. And in your journal, in your meditation you might be writing something along the lines of, oh my God, it was so easy. Oh my goodness. [00:26:00] We did it on the day that we received the news of the house being ready
[00:26:06] we also realised that we had hit our financial goal. Oh my God. And sometimes when I'm journaling, I picture actually sharing it with you. I picture actually in my journal, I pictured recording this fairy episode and sharing the expansion and the possibilities and the truth and just the miracle that it is.
[00:26:30] And the reason why I do that is never ever to boast. But it's always ever, ever, ever, ever so you also receive the expansion as a part of this. And this year definitely hasn't been super easy and flowy when it comes to receiving this manifestation. There were lessons that I had to go through.
[00:26:53] There were old stories that were repeating themselves. Just because you think you've worked on it once and you worked on it a long time ago, doesn't mean that the scar isn't there, and that sometimes it can still hurt and sometimes it can still be a reminder. But through all of the, amazing tools that I have in my life, the friends, the body work, the spiritual tools, et cetera.
[00:27:14] That has really helped me come to a different place with my belief system. And namely finding the balance between desiring to have more and also balancing what it means to be still be steady, trust, surrender, creating a nest egg. Understanding prudence, creating sovereignty, knowing that saving was where I had to be at this time.
[00:27:49] When the pandemic kind of, I was probably phrased the wrong way. I was gonna say, when the pandemic was over, , when people stopped giving a shit about [00:28:00] the pandemic and, all the borders reopened, and everyone was travelling again. Do you know how many dms I got from a lot of you who have followed my journey around travelling the world?
[00:28:12] I got so many dms asking me, particularly why we weren't traveling and why we weren't just getting the hell outta here, and why we weren't resuming our nomadic lifestyle, which of course now we are. So 2023 is the year for travel. But the reason for that is because I came to an understanding with what was required of me to
[00:28:36] be still and receive this manifestation in full. And that might have meant not spending a hundred thousand dollars on travel straight away, but instead allowing for the bank account to do its thing so that we could reach the goal. Now, this is different from saying that you can't have this and you have to choose this or that.
[00:28:55] This is knowing exactly where your energy wants to be to keep the dream strong. If we had gone ahead and we had travelled and done three to six months, as soon as the borders is open, it would've caused a level of unrest with that key goal. The unrest would've been, I really wanna travel and I really wanna spend a couple hundred thousand dollars
[00:29:19] cause we wanna do it in style and there's four of us, and all the things. But knowing that being still and loving where we were at and being grounded, that was the energy in which our nest egg wanted to blossom and grow. . So it's not about having this or that because essentially what we were also doing was we were building up the nest egg and we could have this and this and this.
[00:29:46] And where I stand now is we have the overflowing savings and investment portfolio. We have a house which we can fully cover with what's in our bank account. And we have a ton of excess [00:30:00] cash, which we can now enjoy and spend as we travel overseas.
